Born from a love of good food and epic snow, KONISU has become a go-to lunch spot for powder chasers at the iconic Cortina Ski Resort in the Hakuba Valley.
Our coffee is crafted by skilled baristas using freshly ground whole beans, and our sandwiches are made with artisan sourdough — baked from scratch in our own bakery. They’re generously filled with house-roasted chicken, homemade kimchi, onion jam, spiced mushrooms, and our signature sauerkraut.
We bake all our French-style pastries in-house, including buttery croissants, pain au chocolat, and soft cardamom buns. Our rich, fudgy brownies — adapted from a beloved childhood recipe — are made gluten-free so more people can enjoy them. And for those truly in holiday mode, we serve local Japanese beer and indulgent Irish lattes.
Konisu Café is a Covid-era success story — born during challenging times with a simple mission: to bring quality food, great coffee, and a spark of positivity to a place that needed it. What began as a response to a gap became a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.
We now proudly operate two locations on Cortina Ski Resort, along with a dedicated bakery space nearby — where every pastry, loaf, and brownie is lovingly made during the Winter season.
